APRIL 24-25, Tuesday-Wednesday, COMMENCEMENT COUNTDOWN, in the MU Ballroom from 10 am to 4 pm. At Commencement Countdown you will be able to obtain information about cap and gown, class rings and other souvenirs, yearbooks, commencement announcements and the OSU Alumni Association.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for the O.H. Hinsdale Wave Research Laboratory Open House. We need greeters and tours guides for our Moms Weekend Open House, May 4 and 5. No experience needed, we will train you and it will be lots of fun. Two-hour minimum commitment! This is a great way to get involved in the COE and build your resume. Free pizza and tee-shirt. OSU DAY AT THE CAPITOL, Tuesday, April 17, 2007. Free busses will transport students, staff, faculty and friends of OSU to Salem. The buses will depart from the OSU Bookstore on Jefferson at 3:30 pm, returning by 7:00 pm. OSU Day will provide an opportunity for OSU students and others to connect with their legislators to discuss a number of the funding challenges facing OSU as we head into our Ways and Means hearings starting later this week. CONGRATULATIONS TO DR. WAYNE HUBER, who has been selected to receive the national 2007 Julian Hinds Award, presented by the Environmental & Water Resources Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers. The award is to be made annually to the author(s) of that paper which is judged to be the most meritorious contribution to the field of water resources development such as multi-purpose water projects for irrigation, flood control, municipal and industrial water, hydroelectric power or any combination thereof. The award can also be made to an individual for notable performance, long years of distinguished service, or specific actions that have served to advance engineering in the field of planning, development, and management of water resources. APRIL 17, Tuesday – AGC Speaker Meeting. Stacy and Witbeck, Inc. 6:00 pm 106 Owen Hall. Dinner and sodas will be available.
