NEW FALL CLASS – CE 405, Project Management for Civil Engineers, 4 credits.

WOMEN ENGINEER MENTORS - M & Ms is a mentoring program for incoming female freshman engineers, designed to help ease the transition between high school and college and keep these students pursuing their engineering degrees. Women engineering students (current freshmen through seniors) are needed to help make this program possible. Now is your chance to give back. As a mentor, you will be paired with a first-year woman in engineering, offering guidance and support during her first year at OSU. This mentoring program is a great opportunity for mentors to develop leadership skills and get chances to socialize with women professors here at OSU as well as some key faculty and current engineers. New to M & Ms in 2008–09 are Industrial Mentors, professional women engineers who will serve as mentors for M & M mentors! There will be many social outings such as ice cream socials, dinners, speakers and outings. If you have any questions or you are interested in becoming a mentor, and being involved in this fun and exciting opportunity, email your contact information (name, major, email address), class standing, and whether you will be on MECOP during 2008–09) to Karena Dokken (dokkenk@onid.orst.edu) by Monday June 9th.
