Structural Engineers are involved in the design and testing of load-bearing structures. The College of Civil and Construction Engineering's Structural concentration offers both undergraduate and graduate courses in structural engineering, wtih an emphasis on structural analysis and seismic related issues.

CCE structural engineers benefit from the availability of the large scale structural strong floor located at the Oregon State campus. Many research projects on campus take advantage of this valuable testing facility.
