- Course Description
- This course presents the National Environmental
Training Association (NETA) Lead-Based Paint
Maintenance Training Program under a grant from
the EPA and HUD. This 8-hour program is designed
to help building maintenance supervisors and
workers reduce exposure to lead while maintaining
and managing lead-based paint (LBP) in place. The
course offers lead- based paint techniques and
information used in routine property maintenance,
repainting and repair activities. Through proper
work practices, lead exposure can be limited to
the maintenance workers, workers families
and apartment residents.
- Who should Attend
- This lead-based paint awareness training is
recommended for housing management and real
estate industry professionals including painters,
Realtors, mortgage and escrow officials,
apartment owners, insurance providers, lawyers,
appraisers and environmental assessment
professionals.
